Sunday Services

March 2: Rev. Roger Mohr, “Starting a Fire In a Frozen Heart.” There are times in our lives when it seems that the fire within us has gone cold, and we have lost our passion for life and living. What does it take to ignite the flame again?

March 9: Rev. Roger Mohr, “Embracing Our Theological Diversity.” The Unitarian Universalist Association periodically performs internal studies of our congregations, so we can understand ourselves better. The UUA’s Commission on Ap-praisal conducts those studies and issues the reports. The most recent report was titled “Engaging Our Theological Diversity.” What does the report tell us about who we are together?

March 16: Rev. Roger Mohr, “Just Another Day In Paradise.” One of the major blessings in life is the realization of the wonder of the everyday world. But that realization is not given to many of us, and even then not usually given to us very often. What is the path to paradise?

March 23: Earth Circle, “Vernal Equinox Celebration.”

March 30: Tony Sirna, “Dancing Rabbit.” Tony is a founding member of Danc-ing Rabbit Eco-Village, in northeastern Missouri. He will come to talk with us about the eco-village movement, including alternative energy, alternative building, and all kinds of other alternatives.

April 6: Rev. Roger Mohr, “Grounded, Joyous, Generous.” In a world in which religion is so often the justification for violence, it can seem that religion itself is the problem. However, religion can also be a blessing, both for the believer and for the rest of the world. How can we discern and cultivate healthy spirituality?
