 July/August Services
July 3- Coffee and Conversation. We will talk about our ancestors and what motivated them to come to America.

July 10- Des Moines county in the Civil War, a program by Russ Fry. I have heard this presentation and it is interesting and well done with a few surprises.

July 17- The Ungame. It is still around and still a fun way to get to know people better. It was very well received when we played it two Summers ago.

July 24- Rick Johnson will provide us with one of his well constructed services.

July 31- Rick is just getting warmed up. He has volunteered to do two services but the topic is yet to be confirmed.

Aug.7- Russ Fry has agreed to lead us in a discussion . A skill he is famous for in our group.

Aug.14- How a Religious Society of Friends Community lives the Testimonies of Simplicity, Integrity and Unity with Nature.

Aug.21- Most people have a sense that there is something greater than self or than the human race. And indeed there is. It is the planet and at a broader level-the entire Cosmos. Find out more about the contemporary and ancient movement of Pantheism. Moore Anderson will be the service leader.

Aug.28- Native American beliefs relating to animals and how they influence the life and customs of the Indians. Trish Johnson will be the service leader.
